Creating eye symmetry with hands
Warning: It is very important to find out which eye or eyebrow is higher than the other before doing this exercise. First, look at yourself in the mirror and see which eyebrow is higher than the other. If you are not sure which eye / eyebrow is higher than the other, take a picture of your face or ask someone else to confirm it.
Version A.
If your right eyebrow is higher than the left, practice with your left eye and use your right hand to keep the right eye still.
- Curl your right hand in the shape of a “C”.
- Place your right index finger above the right eyebrow, along the upper eye bone,
- Place the right thumb on the right side of your nose, just above the nostril,
- Press the remaining fingers down and then sideways,
- Open your chest, lower your shoulders,
- Open your left eye as wide as possible while lifting the eyebrow as high as possible,
- Hold this for 5 seconds,
- While pressing the right fingers firmly on your eyebrow, keep your right eyebrow and the right side of your forehead still.
- Close your eyes and rest for a few seconds. Then repeat this exercise 3 times, 2-3 times a day.
Version B.
If your left eyebrow is higher than the right, then practice with your right eye and use the left hand to keep still on your left eye.
- Curl your left hand in the shape of a “C”
- Place your left index finger above your left eyebrow, along the upper eye bone
- Place the left thumb, on the left side of your nose just above your nostril,
- Press the remaining fingers down and then sideways,
- Open your chest, lower your shoulders,
- Open your right eye as wide as possible while keeping the eyebrow raised as high as possible,
- Hold this for 5 seconds,
- While pressing your left fingers firmly on your eyebrow, make sure to keep the left eyebrow and left side of your forehead piece.
- Close your eyes and rest for a few seconds. Then repeat this exercise 3 times, 2-3 times a day.
Benefits: It makes your eye area symmetrical, especially the eyebrows.
Tip: Don’t worry about frowning during the exercise. You can relax your forehead with tapping if necessary.
