Can anybody practice Face Yoga?

Yes, it is for all ages, it is for women and men, children and old people. Everybody can practice. The only time you should reconsider practicing is if you have any health issues.

How often do I have to practice Face Yoga before any results?

It depends on your age, lifestyle, your habits. The results on the face are much more subtle and appear slowly over time.  Some people see it after two weeks, others need more time to see results. But to make sure you are making a progress, it is necessary to take some before and after pictures.

When do I need to practice?

If you want to see good results, twice a day. First thing in the morning and right before you go to bed. Practicing Face Yoga in the morning wakes up the muscles and can help to break bad facial habits. Practicing in the evening helps to reset the muscles and mind and relax you before you go to sleep.

Does practicing Face Yoga cause wrinkles?

No. Some people really think that, but that is not the case. To make sure that you are using the right muscles and moving them correctly, practice in front of the mirror. Moving the muscles the right way can actually prevent and reduce wrinkles.

What about the poses? Do I need to do all the poses every day?

No, you don't. But make sure you are doing them every day for at least 5 minutes, and stay focused on the area you would like to improve. If you have a specific area that you are concerned about, you should spend more time practicing specific poses just for that area. Once you have reached your desired results, you should not stop with practicing, otherwise, you will get there where you just started.

What if I cannot move my face muscles?

Start with baby steps and you will get there. We all need to learn to walk. Somebody needs more time. In the beginning, your muscles can be asleep, you need to wake them up. That needs some patience and time. Just keep practicing. Don't lose your focus and your goal.

Do I need to practice all the poses?

By choosing the area you are considered about you can choose which poses fits you the most. However, just like daily body training, using all the muscles on your face will bring better results. The poses that don't like that much are maybe those that you need to see as a challenge.

I have a strange feeling in my face after practice. Is that normal?

Yes it is. After doing any other sport it is normal to feel discomfort or pain. You are stimulating the muscles you never even knew existed. Build the exercises slowly and gradually increase the resistance on a frequency of the exercise.

How long do I have to hold each pose?

Each pose takes different time. Some take 6 seconds, other 20.

Can I still do the Face Yoga since I have some work done on my face, like Face-lift, or Botox?

Yes, you can. It can be always combined with other facial treatments. But you should remember that Botox blocks that firing and keeps the muscle from moving. The injected muscle can no longer contract, which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften. That can be challenging for you while practicing. Before you start you should always make your face hydrated. If you feel any discomfort you should stop immediately and you should consider your physician.

I have a double chin, it is genetic. Can I still get wanted results from practicing Face Yoga?

Yes. In fact, your family is a great example of how you should look like in the future. You can prevent the problem before it manifest. Observe there appearance, and start working on the area you would like to change. they can actually inspire you to work on your self.

Is it better to do a few poses of Face Yoga every day or to practice all the poses of Face Yoga every other day?

If you don't use your muscles you lose them. It is better for you to practice a little bit every day, then once in a while. The daily routine is necessary if you want to achieve your goal.
