Symmetrical mouth with hands

play-sharp-fill

Before you practice this pose, it’s important to find out which side of your mouth is higher than the other. First look at yourself in the mirror and determine which side of your face is higher.

If you’re still not sure, take a photo or ask someone to point it out.

Curl your upper and lower lips over your teeth.

Place index fingers in the corners of your mouth, then lift the outer edges. Make sure that both corners of the mouth are on the same level.

Continue to lift the corners of your mouth as you slowly lift your chin up and back until your face is parallel to the ceiling. If this strains your neck, only go back as far as it is comfortable. You still benefit from the exercise.

Repeat this 3 times, and stay behind for 5 seconds.

Benefits: This exercise helps create symmetry in the mouth, lifts cheeks and corners of the mouth, smooths the neck, prevents / reduces “smoky” lines, on the upper lip and reduces / smooths nasolabial folds. This pose also works great if you want to replace your gummy smile with a natural, beautiful and confident smile.

Tip: Asymmetrical smiles usually occur because you chew more on one side than the other. While eating, make sure to alternate and not just chew on one side so that both muscles are used and developed evenly. Change at least 2-3 times a day.
