The cheek lifter
The exercise
Open your mouth slightly. Press your upper lip against your upper teeth. Your above teeth are visible. Open your eyes wide without frowning. Curl your bottom lip over the bottom teeth. Keep breathing. Point both mouth corners towards the chewing teeth. Both mouth corners are on the same level. Your chin slightly forward. Place both hands on top of the cheeks, and push the cheeks diagonally upward at a 45 degree angle. This will hold you like this for 10 seconds.
Benefits: Defines and plumps the cheeks.
Tip: Keep your jaw area relaxed as you pull both corners of your mouth towards the molar teeth. Keep both corners of the mouth at the same level. Doing the big “O” pose at the end of this pose stretches the mouth area and relaxes the face.
